First Aid for Baby and Child
These fun and friendly first aid classes are ideal for parents to learn together with friends and family. This course is interactive, and confidence-building, and will provide plenty of opportunity to practice techniques and ask questions.

Babies under 12 months are welcome 
 
Learning baby and child first aid is a must for all new parents, and anyone looking after children so that you can reduce the anxiety that comes with having a new little person to look after.

What does the course cover?
The course covers first aid techniques for babies (0-1 years) and children (1-12 years). Babies in arms are welcome to attend with adults - up to the age of 12 months. The course duration is 2.5 hours and includes the following: 

•Unconscious baby and child (breathing or not breathing) -
Use of AED
•Choking baby and child
•Bleeding
•Burns
•Raised temperatures
•Meningitis

Who should attend this course?
This course is perfect for babysitters, family members, grandparents, expectant parents or parents of children of all ages. 

If you care for a child professionally our paediatric first aid course meets workplace and Ofsted.

Duration: 2- 3 hours

Certification:
Upon completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
